Özil posted on social platforms, criticizing the Arsenal club for excluding him from the Premier League list and failing to return his loyalty over the years. In this regard, Arsenal coach Arteta insisted that Ozil is to blame on himself.
"What happened to Özil is not new anymore," Arteta said. "When I first entered the Lord, the atmosphere surrounding him was not very good. These things have been going on for eight years."
"My job is to mobilize the best abilities of each player to contribute to the team, and right now I feel that (on Özil) I have failed. I want to see the best Özil, sometimes we Close, but now there is nothing I can do because I have to make a decision to exclude him from the lineup."
"This has nothing to do with behavior or to reduce appearance bonuses. It's not true."
"Ozil had the same opportunity as everyone else, but I have to look at their daily performance and what each player can bring to the team. This decision is my responsibility. He has always been fair."
